'Lance and Lynda quickly responded to my e-mail enquiry, and were at the house by the next day. Throughout their assessment of the job, I was confident that their primary interest was ensuring that I got only the work required at a fair price. The job was arranged for a few days hence and completed in a day. Lance considered the damage to be not as bad as assessed (it was obscured by my ham-fisted attempt at applying primer) and Linda called and informed of this. In response, Lance treated a number of smaller areas at no extra cost. The finish is excellent and at a very reasonable price. I'd definitely recommend Lance and Linda if you want a job done well with a personal interest in meeting your needs.’ Dr Stephen King
Just a quick email to say many thanks indeed for the speedy and sterling repair of my Volkswagen Golf. The car is less than a year old and I pretty much died a bit inside after it was damaged in an underground car park. There was a large dent, scrape and score all along the side of the rear left passenger door and I wasn’t sure how I would go about getting it fixed. After being referred to Lance and Linda at Chips Away, the car was assessed in a day and repaired within a week. The result is immaculate and I’m a very satisfied customer. Thanks a lot for your professional service and courtesy, I will recommend you to all of my motoring friends! Josh
I just thought that I would write a few words of thanks for the work you completed recently on our 12 year old Mercedes. As you may remember, I phoned recently to see if you would be able to help by dealing with a scrape on the rear bumper. The earliest you could do this, I was told by Linda, was some weeks away. In the silence that followed, Linda then asked me when I wanted it done - 'Um, yesterday, I'm in the process of selling the car.' The response was as expected, 'Give me ten minutes and I'll see if I can sort something out.'
And so it proved. Ten minutes later, Linda called me and said that the car could be picked up the next day. However, it would mean working later since you had another piece of work to complete. The cost, as always, was fair. The next day came and there you both were and later that day, early evening, the car was returned with, again as usual, a great quality job.
I thought that I would write to say thank you for a) a great quality job; b) being so helpful; c) a great quality job; d) highly customer oriented; e) a great quality job; f) at a very fair price; and g) a great quality job.
One of the roles I have is training people in customer care. I do this with a number of clients. One of the elements of the programme is to provide an example of customer care. I quote my experience with you both. It's one of the reasons I recommend, and will continue to do so, to my friends and others who need your skills. Thank you again. By the way, did I tell you that you did a great quality job? I wish you all success. You work hard and deserve this success. Be well. Regards, Kevin Patch
