Although Andy Cornell only launched his ChipsAway franchise in July this year, he's already planning to expand his business in the New Year. He says he's been busy from day one and has always been fully booked four weeks ahead.

"I'm absolutely thrilled with my new business," says Andy, a former sales & marketing director who suffered redundancy twice in three years. "I'd always had a desire to run my own business, and the increasingly tough times in the print industry, where I worked previously, persuaded me to take the leap now rather than seek another job and possibly face redundancy again."

Andy looked at a variety of different opportunities before deciding on ChipsAway, from food to retail as well as automotive, but is certain that joining the UK's leading automotive paintwork repair brand was the right move for him.

"I wanted something flexible, that was not massively expensive and which had the potential for growth," he explains. "I've certainly got all that with ChipsAway. Now I need to decide on the best way forward, whether to take the mobile route and invest in more vehicles or instead open a ChipsAway CarCare Centre (fixed-base workshop). From the outset, I've had terrific support from ChipsAway and I know that whatever option I choose for the future, I can count on their experience, enthusiasm and advice to help me build my business and achieve long-term success!"
